In 2020 / 21 - through the height of the COVID lockdown - I series produced and edited A LIFE IN TEN PICTURES, a new approach to biography that reveals the inner lives of six extraordinary individuals: FREDDIE MERCURY, AMY WINEHOUSE, TUPAC SHAKUR, ELIZABETH TAYLOR; JOHN LENNON and MUHAMMAD ALI. Each film focuses on just ten key images to dig deep into the personal circumstances, psychological make up and cultural forces that shaped the lives that have helped to define the modern world. The series delivers unprecedented access to those closest to the subjects to produce a genuinely revelatory take on the lives of some of the most famous names in popular culture.
